DESCRIPTION

This is a 200 Kg welding lathe with driven head and tailstock via
layshaft. It is welding a muffler box to two pipes. The muffler box
is loaded into a cradle and is shot bolted into position to maintain
angular relationship to the pipes. The pipes are tack welded to the
box, the shotbolt then withdraws allowing the assembly to index
10º. The assembly is then fully welded 365º. Once the assembly
is welded, it is leak tested in situ. On completion of leak test a
pick and place arm removes the welded assembly from the tooling.
