DESCRIPTION

Being a special variation of our 100Kg lathe it comprises of a driven
headstock unit and a tailstock unit adjustable along the bedway for
any stanchion length up to 1250mm. Also on the bedway are two
retractable pin units. These align the handrail holes in the ball and
keep them in line with the foot. These pin units can float axially
sufficienty to allow the whole five piece assembly to clamp up
with no clearances between tube and foot or tube and ball. This
unit also aligns the torches in a similar manner ensuring welds
are placed correctly regardless of tube cut off tolerances. The
machines capacity is 60 - 90mm diameter balls and 32 - 48mm
diameter tubes, with or without feet. Feet can be rectangular,
round or triangular. Three or four welds are completed
simultaneously with auto eject to the rear as an option.
