DESCRIPTION

These machines are based on a precision tool room metal cutting
lathe, but fully rebuilt to incorporate the earthing, rotational and
control requirements needed.

This means the high precision, hard wearing and low cost features
of such a lathe can be incorporated for TIG and MicroTIG
applications.

The cycle, torch and tailstock movement have all been automated.
A control unit looks after the TIG or Plasma autogenous or cold
wire feed types of welding. These have been successfully used on
pressure switch bellow, thermo couples and other instrument type
components.
